How To Make Your Own Lightsaber
This guy is my HERO. He actually made a “real” lightsaber from scratch – and tells us all about it!
There is obviously kind of a lot of work involved I’m afraid. And a collection of tools I’ve never seen before. But I still feel the urge to make one for myself when I see how awesome the result is!
Check out these pictures and the whole process on slothfurnace – and you’ll wanna make one you too! If you do – then we can totally hook up in the park on one dark and windy night to fight. But I’d better warn you – the force is very strong in me.

Star Wars cast back then
I came across this vintage looking photo of the Star Wars cast. It is truly weird seeing these guys out of costume, dressed in suits looking like regular people.
Darth Vader does not look very scary in his dotted tie, and Chewie looks almost shy!
And how short is Leia really? She is like TINY. I looked it up and she’s just 1.55!
Little Kenny Baker <3 How cute is he? R2-D2 has always been my dreamdroid.

From the left: Harrison Ford (Han Solo), David Prowse (Darth Vader), Peter Mayhew (Chewbacca), Carrie Fisher (Princess Leia), Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker) and Kenny Baker (R2-D2).
