There’s Just Something About Android…

I’m sorry my Apple friends, but today I cancelled my iPhone 4 a

nd ordered a HTC Desire HD instead. There’s just something about Android… what can I say?

First and foremost I want a LARGER SCREEN than the ones I

use today (HTC Hero and LG Optimus). The LG phone is really small, pretty and very handy to carry around, but couch browsing on it something you don’t do… But it still is a keeper.

The Hero on the other hand is slow, weird, does not do what I tells it to do, dies on me from time to time and is just too unstable to be a part of my geeky life. And the camera sucks. A lot.

So last week I ordered the iPhone 4 after a pretty big fight with Hero where we ended up not talking at all and me calling Hero “a plastic cunt”.

Now that I’ve had time to calm down I can see that ordering an iPhone 4 in the heat of the moment maybe wasn’t really what I wanted. I just really wanted to get back at Hero, and the best way to do that was of course by cheating on it with it’s worst enemy, the iPhone.

BUT, after a week of thinking I’ve found out that I do not want to step over to the bright side of life that is the world of Apple. I want to stay on the dark, geeky side (Linux F

TW!) and be able to live in a world where I make my own app’s. And I made a commitment to Java 3 years ago that I never would leave her so… Android it is.

So – here’s the HTC Desire HD – my new fat friend! She’s a large girl – but that’s the way – aha aha – I like it!
